This recently released application was created in order to reduce data redundancy in our electronic resources holdings as well as to provide a substantial upgrade to search and browse capabilities available to students. This approach provides a custom search and browse interface for the Sherrod Library's 200+ electronic resources while also integrating the data into the main discovery system. It uses APIs to pull the newly integrated data from the discovery system, simultaneously leveraging APIs of other 3rd party applications to provide data in one place. What was once 4 separate systems is now integrated into a single package. I presented this application to a packed room at the ExLibris Users Group of North America (ELUNA) annual conference in Oklahoma City in May of 2016.
